It was one Halloween night when Lars took Jack, and now Jack wants to find him so Lars can take all of him. Dreams of Lars continue to trouble Jack. In a past life, Jack was incarnate as a female that Lars had loved, and now Jack can only hope that if he gets to be with Lars again, he will accept him. As Jack and Lars soon meet again, they must face the truth about events as Argent follows their trail. Lars knows that he didn’t kill Argent’s brother. Now Argent must trust Ruby, as Jack leans toward wondering who is really friend or foe as everyone meets together for a heated reuniting.
Jack of Diamonds is a splendid read with many transformations that keeps the reader flipping the pages. I was anxious to see what would happen to Jack who desperately wanted to find the love of his life, and Argent who had the same passion but for revenge. Ruby is unique and totally electrifying. Ms. Ellwood always pens stories with a certain flare that captures the reader instantly. The romance and hot passion between the characters really steams the pages. She creates interesting characters that makes a highly charged book read.
