This author really knows how to craft a story. From the very beginning, my interest was captured and it never wavered throughout the entire book. Emerald and Jackson were both dominant personalities with their own quirks and imperfections that made the reader really like them and want them to be happy. The mystery of who was stalking Emerald was important to the story but it didn’t take away from the romance between her and Jackson. The reader will enjoy their journey as they get to know eacher. The author lets the sexual tension build slowly so you know the feelings are there for both of them, and the first time they make love is very explosive. I have enjoyed every story in this series and eagerly look forward to the author telling more about these families.
