After the explosions that gave the Wolf Breed's their freedom, Jacob walked away from Faith. Taking assignments from the leader of the pack that would keep distance between them. Over the past six years, Faith has dealt with his rejection and fought to become a strong member of the pack. Now of all the assignments possible, Wolfe's send Faith to find Jacob. When the two finally do meet up she finds out the papers she carried to him were about her. Their leader, Wolfe, has informed Jacob that she's now in heat and since they're mates he must take care of her. But Faith has turned all those years of rejection into anger and she's not about to give into her desires or her love for Jacob. This is the second book in the breed series by Lora Leigh, and I'm happy to say I was as delighted with this book as the first. Leigh has really done it again, she's taken a story and characters and brought the magnificently to life. I can't wait for the next book in this series and more from Lora Leigh in general.
