Being a phychic teen ager is not a good thing in Livvie Merrick's experience. Lesson learned – don't tell people youu foresee an accident in their future, they don't appreciate the knowledge; they persecute the messenger. Livvie is not enjoying her senior year since she has been labeled the school pariah until Alex Sawyer moves to town. He is gorgeous and very nice to Livvie but it is only a matter of time until someone tells him she's the town freak and then he'll be gone. But Alex has some surprises of his own and Livvie's gift may be the only thing that can save him from an unexpected incident.

Both Livvie and Alex are great characters and there are some unexpected twists to their story that are a lot of fun. Teen relationships are always fraught with problems, misunderstandings, and tension but throwing in a psychic gift makes it much more complicated. Livvie can sometimes see snippets of future events, just enough to possibly warn someone but not enough to do anything about what she sees. And why should she try to help others when all they do is call her a freak and run away. After Alex comes along, Livvie may have found someone who doesn't run but does he really understand what it is like for Livvie? And why is Alex so different and understanding? If you like good teen romantic suspense with a paranormal twist, then you will enjoy Jaguar Moon. I hope there will soon be other books like this one from Ms. Palmer because this is a fun read!
