| Jane Denning, owner of the very successful bookstore Denning Books,
isn't having such a successful social life. She dates man after man in
the hopes that one of them will manage to hold her interest for more
than a few dates, but unfortunately she hasn't met a winner yet. Her
best friend Lacey finally figures out that Jane wants to be dominated
in bed. Jane is shocked, she's never thought of herself as someone who
needs to be dominated, but the more she listens to Lacey, the more
intriguing the idea sounds. They agree to go out to the Blue Note club
in order to find an eligible candidate.
Ian MacInnes is very turned on when he overhears the conversation between Jane and Lacey. He figures he's just the man that Jane needs and he makes plans to attend the Blue Note too so he can "accidentally" meet Jane. When Jane feels a mysterious guy staring at her at the Blue Note, she can't help but risk a glance, and what she sees is temptation beyond all temptation. Ian is tall, dark, and oh so handsome, plus he's the perfect candidate for her new sexual dominance scheme. When he starts dancing with her, without asking her permission, Jane just about loses all control. She has never felt this kind of lust for a man. Soon the Blue Note leads to the bedroom where Jane and Ian are experimenting in trust and dominance. Though Ian has to persuade Jane to give their relationship a thirty-day trial period, he's more than convinced that she is the perfect woman for him. Now if only he can prove to her that he's her Mr. Right. This book was phenomenal! The chemistry between Jane and Ian was scorching from the time they met until the very last page. Ian was so confident in himself and his sexuality that it really helped to bring out the dominant nature hiding in Jane. Though she has a hard time trusting him at first, the more Jane gets to know him, the more she falls in love with him. I really loved how author Hannah Murray built up the trust between Jane and Ian in the special moments that didn't take place in the bedroom. Those moments really helped to solidify their growing relationship. This book was very adventurous in the bedroom, as the title suggests. It had scenes involving dominance, anal sex, and submission, all written amazingly well. This is one book not to be missed.
