Janie is in a polyamorous relationship with her employers TJ and Ronnie. But when she is not in their bed, babysitting their daughter, or out clubbing, she is fulfilling her calling for writing. She finally finds her chance at getting published in Josh, a handsome big-shot editor she meets an awkward morning after spending the night with his drop-dead gorgeous wife. Now Janie can kiss her publishing dream goodbye'or can she? For Josh is suddenly interested in her, all aspects of her, offering to realize her dream of a career in writing and most importantly, her heart's wish for true love. But the problem now is not convincing Josh of her talent as a writer and as a lover, but explaining her complicated relationship with TJ and Ronnie without scaring him away...

I've always loved Ms. Kitt's books, and Baumgartner Generations: Janie is no exception. I still haven't encountered an author who mixes down-to-earth plots and emotions with scorching sex with so much talent as she does. This book is not only an excellent addition to an amazing series, but possibly her best work yet. We find little Janie from Babysitting the Baumgartners all grown up and transformed into an amazing, mature and loving woman. And when this wild and sexy vixen is paired with hot and virile Josh, sparks fly at the powerful chemistry between the two. Josh is another lovable character, sensible and caring as he is sensual and possessive, and utterly male. Furthermore, we get to revisit all the characters we know and love from the previous books, and the changes we see in them only add to the richness of this complicated love affair. This book has an incisive, well-paced plot, complex and dynamic characters, clear and engaging writing, and almost more blazing sex than a person can take. I know I will be anxiously waiting for the next book in this series.
