| What a wrong number Cash got when he called his friend! When Cash tried to call Colin and a woman answered, he knew immediately that he had the wrong number. Mindy had run upstairs to answer the phone and wasn’t ready to let him off the hook. That, in itself, was unusual. She had a horrible sexual encounter eleven years prior to this and she was not interested in meeting new men. Her best friend, Bolt, was married and lived next door to her. When she needed to talk to a man, she visited him.
Cash was tired of trying to find the perfect woman, so he decided his obsession with calendars would be his guideline. Every time he changed the month, so would his girlfriend. That way he wouldn’t get bored. January—the beginning of the year—it was the perfect time to start his resolution. Ms. Madison Hayes is an incredible writer. She has more ways to write sensuality than I’ve seen before. This book has high-content sexual encounters. That does not, however, negate the storyline. She has written a beautifully poignant, highly combustible story about a man and a woman who both want happily ever after. I love her characters. Their initial encounter was laugh out-loud funny. I find it very unusual for a romance to open with a guffaw. It just got better from there. I honestly believe anyone would love her style as well as her content. It is not for the faint of heart.
