| Janice Callahan found out about her husband’s other lover quite by accident. She noticed a credit card bill for a hospital visit while she was out of town. Thinking it was identity fraud, she talked to several people at the hospital, finally getting hateful to get the information! When she found the house where the “other woman,” Sherry Adams, lived she rented the one next door and started watching every move, including when Jason would spend the week with her (lying to Janice about a week-long meeting, of course).
This plot is unusual to say the least! Ms. Phillips has used the three major characters to carry almost the entire story line. These characters are strong-willed, seriously in love, and very sensual people. She gave Janice amazing attributes which enabled her to be strong enough to take her time and plan her revenge; such patience was certainly rewarded. Jason’s and Sherry’s affair was instrumental in pushing Janice to do the things she did. This fast-paced, quickly-readable book is extremely sensual, with many sexual encounters as well as ménage situations. The actions are frequent and not for the faint of heart. They do, however, make the story what it is. I recommend that, if this is your type book, you definitely read it. You will not be sorry! Kudos to Ms. Phillips!
