| Jazz and Riot are two galaxy airmen in an interesting relationship. Jazz loves pretty things and will use his knowledge of explosives to acquire them. Riot is a different sort altogether, particularly with his broken DNA. Sometimes things get a little too explosive but in the scheme of things, it's exactly what they need.
This story was something different, almost too different for me to totally enjoy. From reading the author's blurb I was very curious about this one. The first few pages I wasn't quite sure what was going on, yet I found it intriguing to a point. The exuberant voice of Jazz moves the story along quickly. The characters are interesting in a semi weird plot. I think the cyberpunk flavor to this story is what felt alien to me. I haven't read this genre style before so it was all new to me. It's a very short story, long on bells and whistles to move the plot along. Even though the plot lost me at times, I appreciated the chemistry between the characters. They got along famously. The progression of the story perked my interest a bit because there was more interaction between the two main characters. I'm still a little iffy on this one but I would rate it fair.
