Gerry is a Jazz pianist who has become famous with his musical partner and lover Javier. When Javier leaves him for a trumpet player, Gerry is heartbroken. Gerry lost his muse when he lost Javier and hasn’t touched a piano for three years. But he is rescued by a sexy sax player named Paz. Paz and Gerry hit it off right, but is Paz able to bring back Gerry’s muse and heal his broken heart?

This book is a poignantly written tale of love and loss and how those affect people. Gerry’s character is complex and full of emotional turmoil. The way Gerry deals with Javier leaving shows the depth of his feelings and how sensitive of a guy he is. But he also has a very strong personality and is an amazing musician. This book is full of moments that will have you smiling at times, laughing at others and even wanting to cry a few times. When Gerry and Paz first meet, I found myself snickering at what happened right afterwards. Their second meeting however, will have you on the edge of your seat.

If you enjoy gay romance that is full of sensual moments, nerve wracking events, and fun interesting characters this is one book you’ve got to give a try.
