Heiress Crystal Moran was devastated three years before by the death of her father and the explosive demise of her engagement to Demetrius. His unfounded accusations of infidelity taught her a painful lesson about love. She immediately left Greece for her home in New York and a new career. She has thrown herself into her work for her family's charitable foundation and has a satisfying if lonely life. At this year's fundraising event she is shocked to find her former fiancé as one of the guests. Demetrius is determined to get Crystal back in his bed, but is still unwilling to trust her.

This book is an erotically charged story with some very well written and inventive love scenes. Crystal's special underwear is very interesting. I liked Crystal's character. She is a strong person, but soft and caring. Demetrius is much harder to like. He is jealous, judgmental, and really not very nice to Crystal. His blackmail attempt is not very realistic and his treatment of Crystal is unnecessarily harsh. The Makis character would make a really great villain if developed more. I really enjoyed the final scenes where Crystal got her say at last. Overall, the sexy love scenes make up for a slightly uneven plot.
