Posing as a smuggler, Jerred is an accomplished Saurellian spy with a large network of contacts throughout Imperial Space. Despite his commitment to his career, nearly all other thoughts leave Jerred's head at the sight of the beautiful, well-endowed redhead. As he watches her flaunt herself to the other patrons, Jerred is determined to have her at any cost.

Making a game of it, Giselle decides to flirt with the other customers while ignoring the dangerous smuggler. But Giselle's plan backfires when Jerred corners her in the back of bar demanding to know how much Giselle charges for her services. Indignantly informing Jerred flirting does not make her a prostitute; Giselle is enraged further by Jerred's statement that everyone is for sale it is just a matter of finding the right price. Telling him to find himself a pleasure house, Giselle never expects to see Jerred again after notifying her boss that he illegally carried a weapon into the bar.

Returning home late that night, Giselle, witnesses a murder committed by the station's security force. Fleeing for her life with nothing but the key Jerred slip her to his hotel room, Giselle has nowhere to turn. Jerred, now her only hope to save her life, agrees to smuggle her out of the station, for a price. But Jerred's Price maybe much more than either bargained for.

Both humorous and touching, Jerred's Price is a wonderful story set in Ms. Wylde's intriguing world of the Saurellian Federation. Enmeshed in this futuristic world during an uneasy truce between the Saurellian and the Imperial governments, are two compelling well-developed characters. Giselle is a smart, quick-thinking, independent woman who stands up for herself. For which the strong alpha hero, Jerred, both respects and admires Giselle. Despite their own beliefs, Jarred and Giselle's relationship is not just moved forward by their passionate sexuality. Some terrific secondary characters also enrich the tale without overwhelming it. A great addition to Ms. Wylde's well-crafted world, Jerred's Price completely stands alone with strong characters and an interesting plotline to keep you immersed to the very end of this delightful, steamy read.
