Raquel McKnight is no stranger to her family's holiday curse so when her car is stolen from the mall on Christmas Eve she isn't surprised. She is startled to run into her eighth-grade boyfriend Gabriel McKnight who she hasn't seen in years. Is he part of her jingle bell jinx or is he helping her start a new festive tradition?

This is one sweet holiday treat! The premise of this cute tale is delightful. Raquel is a wonderful heroine who thrives under trying circumstances. Most of us would dissolve into tears if we found someone had stolen our car. She is easy to relate and look up to. Gabe is the type of handsome hero, who women young and old dream of. I wish fate would intervene for me and I could run into my junior high boyfriend. The characters in this story were all well developed for such a short story and I'd love to see Gabe's little sister get her very own adventure. I suggest this charming quick read would make the perfect stocking stuffer for any young, or young at heart book lover on your holiday list.
