| Samantha Jo Bradley is a businesswoman from New York in Malibu,
California working on a freelance article about West Coast men. She
has trouble trusting men because her ex was unfaithful. Samantha is
staying with Tommy Wilton, the son of her best friend Allison, who
died. While in California, she meets Ryan Clarke, a handsome younger
man and renovations expert who is playing Santa for the neighborhood
kids. Tommy and his partner Jim own a surf shop on the beach.
Samantha is helping them by sharing her business experience so their
shop will succeed. Tommy asks Samantha and Ryan to be in a commercial
for the surf shop to help promote the business. As Samantha and Ryan
work closely together, they find themselves incredibly drawn to each
other. Samantha is only in California for a short time until she must
return to Wyoming and restore some property she inherited before
selling it. Will their time in California lead to a future together
for Samantha and Ryan?
I really enjoyed the characters of Samantha and Ryan. They're like people I know. Samantha is one of those people who gives more than she gets. Ryan is able to read her very easily and Samantha finds that very unnerving. Ryan is surprised by his strong attraction to Samantha because he had never made room in his life for a relationship before. The relationship between Samantha and Ryan is very erotic and beautifully written by Ms. Moore. I recommend this book to everyone.
