One day when Emma meets her best friend, she decides that now it's time to do something about her life because it's boring. She breaks up with her boyfriend and decides she must do something new and exciting with her life. Maybe start a new career, meet someone new. She ends up in a rock club by the name Aftershock, and there she meets a man by the name Marc. He's the base guitar player in the band Lightning. But can you start a relationship with someone if you have problems with trust? Emma has that problem and now she must decide if she can trust him or not. If she doesn't, she is going to lose him. Giving him her name is a good start.

This book is very hot and I thought the sex scenes were well done, varied, and in keeping with the story line. My favorite kind of love story. Lot's of emotion, romance, and super steamy sex with great dialogue and wonderful characters. I really just want to hug (and kiss) Marc throughout the book. The heroine, Emma was interesting enough that I liked them as a couple, but I thought her character could have been a little stronger and more developed. Never the less, it was a great, emotionally raw story that will still make you smile. Even though they communicated just fine sexually, they never really just talked, or opened up to each other. Because both had pasts that made them a little fearful about opening up emotionally. Yhey really had no idea that each wanted the same things out of life. So, after each time they came together, one or the other would back away, too afraid to put their emotions out there. This got a little frustrating for me -- I was dying for them to admit how they felt about each other.

While the plot got a little predictable at times, and things got resolved pretty quickly at the end, it was still an enjoyable read for me.
