| Ashleen Craig had flown to the Selva Negra Jungle in Perto Azul, Central American in hopes to find her missing brother, Eric. As she stepped out of the taxi, she was engulfed in the hottest air that she had ever felt! Why had her botanist brother chosen this God awful place and why was he missing? He was a botanist for heaven sakes! Since the taxi had sped away, there was nothing for her to do but to grab her courage and enter the drab and dangerous looking cantina. Ashleen entered the doors then stopped to allow her vision to adjust to the dark interior. As she looked around she saw dangerous looking men that should have made her turn around to bolt out of the door. But Ashleen was on a mission to find her brother and she had been told to look for Bridger Powell and the man sitting at the bar must be him. Ashleen walked up and thought that he did not look like anything sh’ed pictured, instead of long unkempt dirty hair and ill fitting clothes, there sat a hunky looking man with black short hair a tight fitting white tee shirt and jeans so tight that she saw his brawny thighs and oh man! She wondered how big his anatomy in front was. But enough of her fantasy. She was here to find her brother and her lust would wait. When the man grabbed Ashleen, she felt a shock that zinged down to her toes, and when he kissed her, her knees threatened to buckle and that is when the cantina erupted in massive gun fire and Ashleen was shoved to the floor.
When the cantina's doors opened and in walked the woman who made his heart stop, Bridger knew that she would be his. Her sexy walk had many of the scum in the bar getting bad ideas about her All Bridger knew was that she rocked his world as no other woman did. Not even his ex lovers, both of whom had died because he had not trusted his instincts. Bridger was used to death because of the Gulf Storm War and his missions as an SIA soldier. But as he looked as Ashleen, a part of his long frozen heart cracked and if knew that if anyone could help his tired and weary soul that it would be the lovely woman who entered the doors of the cantina! Denise A. Agnew writes a tender love story that is filled with hot sex in the South American jungle where two lonely souls find each other in the mist of searching for her brother and his friend. The story was believable as the two hearts waged war against loving each other. Although it was not very graphic with jungle scenes, the white hot sex entertained me greatly. Jungle Fever flowed smoothly and is a good read.
