Khastity Chase modeled in San Diego for six years. She had saved her money so she could start her own interior design business. Antonia Chase, her mother, wasn’t thrilled about the new business but she was glad Khastity was home again. One of the first people Khastity ran into was Katie James, a young woman she had tutored while in high school. She happened to be the sister to the only man/boy Khastity was ever attracted to.

Trent "Hawk" James was an electrician. He had always been intrigued with the small black woman who had helped his sister pass in high school. He was a sophomore in college and was very careful to not allow anyone to discover his feelings. Now that they were both grown up, he was interested in pursuing her.

Once again, Marie Rochelle has written an incredible story about two people from opposite ends of the spectrum. Their chemistry was volatile. The sexual situations were explosive. The love scenes were to die for—they definitely are not for the bashful or the young. Rochelle has become well known for her interracial relationships. Each one I read seems better than the previous one.

The characters were realistic, the scenarios were believable and the storyline was first class. The supporting cast was high-quality. Of course, this is expected of anyone who follows Marie Rochelle’s work. She has become a “must-read” for this reviewer. She will do the same for anyone who reads a few of her books.
