| Jaden Michaels has been around. More than once. For over a thousand years now, Jaden keeps being reincarnated. And every time she comes back, she’s always trying to save women and young girls from the evil being, who, this time, is Judge Albertson. Of course, there’s one more player in this game, the man Jaden loves. This time around, he’s a cop, the Chief of Police actually, and was almost raised by Albertson. Once Albertson attacks and marks Jaden, she can remember all her past lives. This time around, she can also feel what the victim does and see what the victim sees.
Will Jaden figure out how to defeat Albertson? Or will she be forced to face the demon time and time again? And what of Brian, the love of her life, and all her lives. Will he betray her again, as he’s done before? JUSTICE INCARNATE is a gritty, raw futuristic story of evil and reincarnation. Regan Black has done a wonderful job of giving us a very sympathetic heroine. Even though she can fight and protect herself, she has a very soft heart and does what she can to help women and children. Albertson fits the persona of evil to a “t”. Not only is he attacking very young women and girls, he’s also involved in white slavery and uses the justice system to get what he wants. Jaden’s recollections of past lives come up periodically throughout the story, enough to intrigue, but never overpowering. This is a very original story and I highly recommend reading it.
