Six months after losing her husband, Savanah is finally ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and act on her desires. She's always wanted to know what it felt like to make love to a woman, but has never dared to find out. Until now. Kaydee is Savanah's stepdaughter's best friend, and Savanah's secret crush. Little does she know that Kaydee has felt the same way since the day they met. As Kaydee goes to meet Savanah, unknowingly falling into Savanah's seduction trap, she quickly realizes she's losing her heart for the older woman, while it is all sex and exploration for Savanah. But as Kaydee comes to face one of the hardest moments in her life, she might realize she could be wrong…

I absolutely loved this book. It's insanely erotic, the sex is scorching hot, and the relationship between Kaydee and Savanah is very sweet. I loved the plot and this innovative way to approach a woman discovering her sexuality late in life. I loved Kaydee's complexity; Ms. Ladley did a very good job at creating a very intriguing character with such simple characteristics, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching as she herself went through a transformation of her own from a carefree young woman to this mature confident person who discovers true love. I loved the writing style, and how we have equal access into both character's thoughts; that made me feel really connected to the entire story. I was pleasantly surprised to that find Melanie's story had a space in the plot, which to me made it all the more engaging. The one thing I had trouble with, however, was how Savanah kept comparing her time with Kaydee to her previous relationships with men. I understand why she would do that, and in the beginning it was very realistic, but she compared the two so often throughout the story that it became boring and a little annoying. However, that doesn't really detract from how well this book portrays an F/F relationship, and I truly recommend it as a must-read in that genre.
