| Kendra Parker was nineteen. Her sister Kimberly was two years younger, pregnant, and getting married. Their father, Kincaid, was the local pastor who also raised horses the Army purchased for their use in Eastern Colorado in 1883. Kendra didn’t have many options as far as a man was concerned. This was a big problem for her, especially at that time, because she was rewriting a book a friend had written. It was explicit, written in such a manner that Kendra was more than a bit curious. She felt she would never get to experience the things discussed in the book.
Army Major Sterling Marlow arrived at the Parker ranch while the wedding was in progress. He was 28, single, and lonely. He fell in love with Kendra at first sight. The biggest problem was faced when he found the hidden book in the hayloft when he spent the night. His further involvement with the woman of his dreams was affected by the knowledge of what was written on those pages. Ms. Lauri Robinson has penned a great story about true love, love at first sight, and what can happen when misunderstandings occur. Her characters were dynamic, likeable and determined. The storyline was enjoyable to read. It was fast-paced and entertaining. The chemistry was sizzling but not offensive. I loved the book and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a sensual book.
