| Key West is a tropical paradise, a romantic dream of a place to enjoy on your
honeymoon. That was Carrie Marshs plan but there was just one problem
Carrie didnt get married. After her wedding fell apart at the church her
sisters convinced her to still get away to Key West. Carrie figured she could
still relax and take time to figure out whats next. She begins to reexamine
her life and what really makes her happy when she runs into sexy charter boat
captain Chris McCann. Between his sizzling sex appeal and the freewheeling
party atmosphere on a sunset cruise Carrie begins to let loose her inner sex
goddess. Key Wests legendary party atmosphere and her fascination with Chris
encourage her to lose her inhibitions. Her vacation only lasts a week, but
shes afraid her feelings for Chris will last a lot longer.
The third in the Hot in the City trilogy continues to deliver what readers have come to expect from Lacey Alexanders sizzling erotic romps. Key West provides the latest gorgeous setting for the last of the sexy Marsh sisters to awaken her inner bad girl. Was there a lot of sex? Oh yeah. These two came up with more creative sexual escapades than you would think possible in just one short week. Although the sexual situations push the edge, including mnage with female/female, male/male, public sex, and voyeurism, these encounters are very sensual and part of the flow of the story. A lot of this storys charm is its blatant escapism both in the plot and for us panting readers! But although the eroticism and heat was orgasmic, the emotion and personality Ms Alexander infused in her characters made this an excellent read! I cared about Chris and Carrie and wanted their relationship to continue to grow. There were several likable secondary characters that fleshed out the story. I think anyone who has visited Key West will enjoy recognizing a few places Chris and Carrie visit around town. This was a fast engaging read, an updated romantica version of the classic summer lovers theme. It will be on my favorites list!
