Before she can even scream, Kara finds herself bound, naked no less, gagged and hauled away by Shaun Weston, the man she has never stopped caring for. Tempers flare, passion ignites and emotions overflow as these two lovers play a game of chase that soon gets a whole lot kinky and a whole lot of fun.

Author Alyssa Brooks demonstrates her skills by crafting a unique and fresh story charged with adventure and realistic characters. This tale of mayhem, humor and misunderstanding is gripping at times and the majority of the novel is just enjoyable. Periodically, the story is bogged down by descriptive passages and a stronger conflict would have made the story more captivating for the reader.

Ms. Brooks crafts Shaun and Kara's passion and fire yet with insecurities that make them relatable. Shaun is a all around good man but his characters falls short on really taking charge of the action and Kara's personality is hard to understand. Ms. Brooks gives the reader glimpses into Kara's past but not enough to really bring to life the real Kara. The bond between Shaun and Kara is established by their past but the connection with the present day just doesn't seem to click. The sensual desires and passion between the couple does heat up the pages but not until close to the end of the story. Readers looking for more sexual play throughout the pages of the story will be disappointed although the sexual tension does get a little interesting.
