I am a sucker for a man in a kilt and even more for one with an accent. So along with Sheri I fell head over heals for Chase. He is a wonderful man who loves with all his heart and is willing to do what ever it takes to keep Sheri with him. Being hurt in the past has made Sheri close off her heart but Chase and his love may be just what she needs to open up once again. The blossoming relationship between the two was a wonderful read. I loved the way Chase breaks past Sheri's defenses and what a great surprise he has for her in the end. Chase and Sheri make a wonderful couple playing off of each other very well. No matter how hard Sheri tries to push him away Chase is ready to give her what she needs. As hot as the love scenes get in this book the love that the two share shines brightly making this book a great read.

This is the second story in this series and it just keeps on getting better. Catherine Bybee weaves a wonderful tale of a world full of romance and adventure. As with all her other books Catherine Bybee does a good job pulling the reader into her world and keeping you entertained all the way until the end. I enjoyed this book and will be looking for more from this author in the future.
