Amanda Young pens one of those tales that again reminds us that we can't know what's going on inside a person from just their public actions. Truman Lee proves that by his story of being in the closet as a teen protecting his image and his future. It's interesting how Ms. Young builds the two men. Briar's life is like an open book. We know how he feels, the kind of man he is. We don't get to know Truman as well. I like the way the story is told in a way that makes me think about it after the last page has been turned.
