| Princess Ula has lived all he life in a secret cottage away from all others in order to keep her safe as she waits for her dark eye prince to come and take her away. Her only companion was druidess Meara who was there to guide her in the proper conduct of a princess. When Meara disappears Ula sets out to find her. One of the first people she meets is Shay. Shay is surprised to see Ula when she enters the pub in a middle of a terrible snow storm. From her actions Shay believes Ula is mentally unbalanced and feels he needs to take responsibility for keeping her out of trouble. It aggravates him that she keeps trying to steal his dog. But for all the trouble she brings into his life he does have to admit she is a beautiful woman. Kiss of Blarney is a lusty adult fairy tale in which a princess has waited all her life for her handsome prince. Readers will enjoy watching as Ula becomes acquainted with life in the modern world. Humorous at times this story takes the readers on an adventure filled with magic and surprises. This story begins a little slow and not enough information is really given for the readers to become attached to the characters. But as the story continues the introduction of magic and fight between good and evil will capture the readers' interest. Again even there the evil is not defined and the readers will just have to accept the story as told. Obviously this story is meant as a quick light hearted diversion and not written for the readers to become deeply involved. The chemistry between Ula and Shay is there from the very beginning. Readers will enjoy the love hate relationship that Shay and Ula have. Shay can not decide whether to strangle Ula or kiss her. Their passion decides for them in a few heated scenes that readers will enjoy. Readers that want a light hearted story that will make them smile will enjoy this happily ever after romance, Kiss of Blarney by Penelope Marzec.
