This book is the middle one of a trilogy. However, you can read it as a stand-alone and it will make perfect sense. This book is about Stephanie Baci, known as Stevie, one of the three sisters who own their inherited winery and they are trying to make it profitable. Stevie, however, doesn't want to take part in the wedding side-line business the other two are working with. She took the limousine in the company and started Napa Princess Limousine. It was a tongue-in-cheek name that those in her inner circle were aware of.

Stevie's ex-fiancé is now engaged to a real-life princess. Because of her sister's broken leg, she agreed to take over the job of coordinating the wedding of her ex and his new fiancé. The new bride, however, had her doubts about the sincerity of Stevie. Her brother, the prince, Jack, decided he would make sure she didn't cause a conflict. He immediately got involved with Stevie and then finagled a "pretend" engagement with her.

This book was no different from others Christie Ridgway has written. It is of the highest standard, the plot was definite and the storyline was, as expected, spectacular. Ridgway has made a name for herself in the genre of contemporary romance. She writes at a level others strive for. Her characters are dynamic. Her supportive cast of characters reinforce the main cast in such a way that cannot be beat.

The situations are powerful and the pages just await a quick turn. I had a hard time putting the book down. The concentration of her storyline gripped my heart and I read quickly and certainly didn't want it to end. I anxiously await the third book in the series and I've already purchased the first one. The ending was certainly not what I expected.

I highly recommend this book for others to read. The sensuality was plain but not erotica. It is a book that will attract many readers. Great job, Ms. Christie!
