The visualization within the pages of this book are outstanding and it makes this story an excellent paranormal romance book to read. The intensity and danger, along with the pain and strength of both Eric and Eileen, will make your heart leap at the dangers they both will face. As the leader of this band of dragons, Eric shoulders a lot of responsibility and faces a lot of difficult choices. Finding Eileen was his greatest joy and his biggest fear, for his enemies were very determined. But his strength and the way he showed Eileen how much he cared for her is his strongest asset. Eileen, although unsure of how to deal with someone like Eric, showed great insight and thoughtfulness in how she dealt with events that unfolded within this story. The passionate love scenes are well written with just the right touch. The intrigue and the hard choices that both Eric and Eileen had to face were well depicted too. The secondary characters added depth and much excitement, making this book fantastic. Ms. Cooke has once again given us another great story and I look forward to reading more of her books.
