Gina was kidnapped and held by terrorists until her rescue by Storm Corps. Her lover, Gregg, was a member of Storm Corps but she believes he is the one who led her straight to her kidnappers. Now that she is free, she vows vengeance against Gregg. Unfortunately, that means letting him get close enough to her that old feelings interfere with revenge.

This is the third book in the Dangerous Passions series, following Shoot to Thrill and If Looks Could Chill. Fans of the series will enjoy following up on previous characters and their relationships. I think the reader will have a better understanding of who is who if they have read the previous books. However, this one will stand alone.

A very fast paced exciting storyline! I loved how we got several romances within this story and the continuation of romances from the previous two books. There were a lot of supporting characters that played important roles that was a little confusing trying to remember which agency or person they belonged to. The author does a great job weaving the suspense through the romance. I was shocked when it was revealed who the ultimate villain was – I never even thought it was this person. Gregg is the ultimate hero – his strength and determination to protect Gina even amidst the skepticism of her and his team will leave you breathless. Great characters, exciting plot, nonstop action, and intense sexual tension combine to make this a book you’ll want to read over and over again.
