Kiss Me, Kate is truly a superbly written story with a great deal of heart, sensitivity, and lots of passion. Kate’s character is a real woman, complete with flaws, but with the strength, determination, and feisty desire to reach out and grab all she longs for. Rick is a knight in shining armor, boy next door, Alpha male with all the qualities that a woman longs for in a man. These characters' personalities, desires, dreams, fears all seem to blend together perfectly to create a strong bond with lots and lots of flames of desire. The secondary characters, Rick’s friend Wes and Kate’s sister Jill add to the story by bring humor and friendship to the mix. The author does a wonderful job of building the plot, the characters, and each scene in vivid detail, capturing the reader's attention from page one. The email friendship plot that builds to more is an imaginative and fresh twist that adds a deeper dimension to the story. When Kate and Wes come together the sex is explosively hot and carnal to the degree I expected my computer to start smoking from the inferno these two lovers created. The ending will have you laughing one minute and fanning your overheated imagination the next. A true delight that you won’t want to miss!
