The last time I think was this excited about anything, I was waiting for Santa to come down the chimney! Kiss of Snow is one of my most anticipated books of the year and Nalini Singh did not disappoint in her tenth installment of the fascinating Psy-Changelling series. Die-hard fans of the series have been watching the tension mount between Hawke and Sienna for several books, and they FINALLY get their moment in the spotlight. Once united, they practically set the pages ablaze. Amazingly, the tenderness, humor, and heat of their love scenes between these two made me appreciate the intricate mating dance more. Although, I enjoyed watching the unflappable alpha lose his composure, I was bothered by the age difference between the two characters. While Sienna is a mature and confident young woman, I would have felt better if she were at least old enough to legally drink in her story. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book because it has a little something for everyone and simultaneously sheds light onto the inner workings of the individual societies of this world. I also loved revisiting several familiar characters and the influx of new characters. Additionally, the secondary plot between two beloved characters was just amazing! So many long-awaited books fail to live up to the hype, but Kiss of Snow surpassed my expectations!
