| Lucius and Alexandra Sinclair met in Prague six years before. Now they're about to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. They have a beautiful daughter, a great love life and an exotic romance. Still, Lucius is able to set up a surprise for their anniversary that makes what they have even better.
Isabella Snow builds a great storyline for this romance. In her book The Claiming of Kitten these two lovers met under circumstances manipulated by Lucius. Their beginning was stormy, a lesson in trust and romance between two people who dreamed of bondage and submission with the right person. In this well done erotic interlude we're shown that time hasn't taken anything away from their relationship. They both seem to have just built more trust in one another to make the BDSM games they play even more titillating and fun. I like the way Ms. Snow shows us what they have built of their relationship before giving us the erotic interlude. We're introduced to their precocious four year old Emma. Their housekeeper Elsa seems like a part of the family, sort of like a live-in grandmother for their little girl. They have a real marriage, family, a life, a business and a home. It's not just great sex but the BDSM eroticism they experience is built as a great addition to their life. This book is really a great read.
