Kiziah has stopped at a carnival for a tarot reading because a dream told her to and she's always tried to listen to her dreams. She's told by the woman who reads her cards that her life will change. She walks out expecting something to happen, and when she meets Cable for the first time, she's sure he's what she's been waiting for. The problem is Cable is already taken, by another man.

Cable is upset that Fane, his partner and lover for the last two years, will soon be forced to take a Kadine, or vampire wife. He knows it's time for Fane to change, and when he does he will have to have a female to continue his line. He doesn't like it, but is finally facing up to the fact that he will have to leave him. When he sees Kiziah from across the carnival, he's hooked from the start. They meet and the fireworks start to go off. He can't imagine living with out her… but he isn't sure that he will be able to give up Fane either.

Fane is enraged that his transformation is taking place now, of all times. He'd hoped for a few more years of being able to be in the sunlight and hunt his family's killer. Worst of all, he feels that he owes his family a child and the only way to do that is to take a woman as a mate. Now that he's in his final transformation as a vampire, there's nothing he can do to stop it. Out of all of the things that are happening, what hurts most to loose is his friend and lover, Cable. When Cable comes back to tell him that he's met another, he's jealous and hurt. Until he meets Kiziah for himself and realizes that there just might be another way…

Wow, what a story! Highly erotic and difficult to put down, Kiziah's Reading tells the story about three people and how they end up in a relationship, and it truly works. What I loved about the book was that you could clearly see all three of them together and loving each other equally. One side was not stronger than the other, just different, and that's what really made this story reach out and grab me. Even though Cable and Fane had been together for a long time, when Kiziah came in she brought something different to the relationship that the men didn't know they were missing. I've read the first one in the series, and after reading this one I can honestly say that the series is only getting better. This book was impressive, I can't say enough about this awesome story! It truly deserves its 5 heart rating, and I can't wait for the next one in the series.
