| Life was difficult for Dr. Vanko Elaschuk in the Ukraine, where he lacked the research opportunities he wanted for his work. So he moved to the United States where Russian Professor Vanko Elaschuk now teaches Biochemistry and is doing research in the Science Department at DeLane University. His research deals with nerve toxins. He came from the Crimea State Medical University in Ukraine. Galahad Miller is Chief of Security at DeLane University. Vanko always found solace in his lab. He and Galahad had dinner but someone vandalized Vanko's lab and home while they were at dinner. Campus security officers found a lot of slurs against Vanko and Communism. Someone didn't want Vanko at the university. He found help and support from Galahad. Galahad is a bisexual playboy. He was surprised to find himself wanting to get closer to Vanko and be of any help he could.
The characters of Vanko and Galahad are beautifully written by Ms. Massa. Vanko is brilliant intellectually but somewhat naïve in his life experience. Vanko has a sweet vulnerability that makes him a very appealing character in the story. Galahad had been around and was equally comfortable with both men and women partners. They are surprisingly different in their lifestyles but very similar in what matters most to them. Their sexual relationship is explicitly written and is very joyous and also has moments of awe for both parties. I really loved the story of Vanko and Galahad. I recommend it to everyone.
