| Since a very young age, Sarah Deveraux had been on the run from the evil that was hunting her - the same evilness that killed her parents and tried to eliminate anyone that Sarah had allowed close to her. Sarah developed a very cautious attitude by solely depending on her internal instances and trusting no one. So, when she saw the dangerous looking, handsome stranger in the art gallery, Sarah knew he spelled trouble with a capital 'T' and she was determined to get away from him; however, the task was not as simple as she first thought for he quickly caught up with her and refused to let her go.
Constantine Kyriakis, heir to the shifter Kyriakis Pack, had avoided his father's continuous matchmaking attempts like the plague. So when his father proposed a temporary cease matchmaking deal, Constantine eagerly jumped at the chance. All Constantine had to do was to locate the artist of a painting that his father had recently purchased. What Constantine perceived to be an easy job turned out to be more complicated in many ways - first off, Constantine was instantly and possessively attracted to the artist, Sarah Deveraux, secondly, Sarah was a half-breed shifter unaware of her shifting abilities and finally someone was determined to kill her as they did to her parents. I found Kyriakis Curse to be a splendid first installment within the Kyriakis series. The plot is jam-packed with non-stop, suspenseful action and wickedly, naughty sexual encounters that will curl your toes and leave you breathless with red-hot desire. The sparks that flew between Sarah and Constantine simply burn up the pages from the first moment they met and continued to blaze hotly until the very end. In addition to the numerous passionate interactions, this story also contained an intriguing suspense that had me hooked from the start. I was completed fascinated and was very eager to uncover the 'whys and whodunits' of the storyline. There was never a dull moment within this super-thrilling novel. Fans of Eve Vaughn will love her newest series and I am positive that first-timer shape-shifting lovers will enjoy this novel also.
