This is by far the most emotional and romantic novella in the book. It touched my heart in so many ways from the BDSM element to the commitment they both had for serving their country and most of all the romantic commitment to building a future from a not so perfect past. This novella is worth the price of the book all by itself and I can say I will be searching out more books by this author.

Rhio's Dancer by Denise Rossetti
A slave with nothing to lose meets a veteran Captain in the Queen's Guard and both their lives will be changed forever. Rhio and Amae discover that with love all things are possible.

The four stories are all tied together by the lingerie the heroines wear. A corset is worn by the ladies and to me it serves as an empowering symbol of their beauty, strength and femininity.
