| Josh Davenport is headed for a well-deserved vacation in Hawaii when snow in the mountains of Colorado changes his plans. Lacy Hennessey is at the Snow Cap resort tracking the last of three men who ambushed and killed her father. Two very different ways of existence don't seem to stand in the way of great sex.
Chérie De Sues pens a tale that starts out in a unique way and continues to stand out from some of the humdrum, same old, same old erotic romances. A killer and a healer manage to find common ground, at least for the night. The author does a great job making the two personalities seem somehow compatible in subtle ways other than just the sex. She keeps us guessing about what may or may not change in their lives. Great descriptions of the secondary characters and scenarios with them help make what could be a dark romance bring a few smiles. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.
