| Just how close would you like to be to your doctor; are there any questions you would be too embarrassed to ask? This short story gives new meaning to doctor/patient confidentiality! Dr. Thomas Blake was summoned to the home of one of his patients, a Countess, Lady Daphne Tremayne. When he arrived, she was in her bed suffering from an undetermined malady. She had on a robe, but nothing else. He noticed, although he tried to ignore the fact, that when she stretched, she did not remain completely covered. After doing his initial examination and finding nothing wrong, she told him she could not sleep; he offered to give her a sleeping powder. She told him that was not what she needed. Need I remind you of the title of this book?
The couple experienced things through the book that neither had experienced, or in her case, even dreamed about. This is a very explicit story, which leaves nothing to the imagination, but I did not find it offensive. The story, though short, was a good love story and left me glad to have read it. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read really short (30 pages) books and who likes to read something really quickly. I was unfamiliar with this author, but I thoroughly enjoyed her writing. I think this book will definitely be a keeper.
