| Ten years ago Erin was living a great life in an up-and-coming rock band with her brother and with a gorgeous, sexy man named Todd in her life. However, Todd wasn't comfortable with his own sexuality and eventually they parted ways. Time has changed them both and they unexpectedly cross paths again. Todd has matured into all Erin's expectations but Erin has experienced an awful tragedy that shut her down emotionally. Eventually Erin and Todd reconnect in the bedroom and life is good. Todd's best friend, Ben, is the icing on the cake in their relationship. Yet Erin's past comes back to haunt her and threatens the relationship between the three of them.
I really loved Erin's character. Even as a young twenty-four, Erin was comfortable with herself and her sexuality. I would call her a responsible free thinker. Fast forward ten years and she is still comfortable with her sexuality. Unfortunately, time and fame have dealt her some hard blows and she's more protective of her emotions. Todd's re-entrance into her life brings back their attraction to each other. I loved how he finally embraced his sexuality and their relationship is super sexy and very emotional. Both Erin and Todd's characters are well developed and the reader instantly knows why they act the way they do. Erin's brothers and Todd and Ben's families were secondary characters and really added to the emotional element of the story. The author does a really great job writing the threesome sex, letting the reader feel like they were just getting a hint at what the relationship will be as time goes on. I felt like the plot was predictable and the pacing pretty even throughout. However, the characters were so interesting that I didn't want interruptions while reading it. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and be aroused while reading this book!
