La Pantera, Episode 1: Old Friends Die Hard, is appropriately named. It reads as the introduction of a brand new superhero with continuing adventures. I hope that's what it is, for I truly enjoyed this character and hope that there will be further episodes. Ella Scopilo does a wonderful job introducing us to the characters. You'll learn their personalities as well as what motivates each of them to behave the way they do. The author's words will have you caring about her characters. She invokes emotions from the reader that mirror those of the characters. The plot of this story is organized and all aspects are fully developed. The dialogue is well scripted and easy to follow. The romantic aspects of the story are passionate and fairly sensual. This is a fast paced read that will leave you wanting more, only because it is so good. For the above reasons I highly recommend this book as a fun read that I am sure you will enjoy.
