| Recovering from an abusive master, Diana has decided to become a dom to protect herself from becoming abused as a sub again. After over 20 years, her true love returns to town. Matt is willing to do anything, even become Diana’s sub, just at another chance with her. How can two doms make a relationship work? Are they both really doms and is that what their relationship needs? Matt and Diana must decide what they really are and if the lifestyle is even for them if they are going to make the relationship last this time around.
If you enjoy a little BDSM in your books, then this is the book for you. Between the three couples in this story and the other club scenes you more than get your fill of scorching hot sex scenes. The chemistry between Matt and Diana is still there after 20 years and all of the stuff that happened in their lives. There’s nothing like finding your first love that you lost so many years ago and possibly having another chance to make it work. Even after twenty years, they still have a lot of heat between them and the friendship is as if time stood still for all those years. I really enjoyed the way Ms. Jacobs tied all three books together. All three stories came together perfectly in Lassoed. The plot and the timing of all of the events tied together seamlessly. The plot is genuine and will keep you engrossed. Having the main characters from the previous Heart of the West Books back as supporting characters helped to make this a well-rounded cast of characters. Seeing their stories through Matt and Diana’s perspectives has added another dimension. The characters are all very vibrant and realistic and bring the story to life. It was very easy to picture this story, characters and setting in my mind.
