| Demetria Cooper has a strong faith in God. She clung to her faith when the man she loved, Rod, turned and walked away from both her and God. She relied on her faith when her strong father was struck down by a stroke, and she used God's comforting and sometimes chiding words to take over and handle her father's air search and rescue business, Dead Fall Mountain Rescue.
But can she handle Rod's return into her life? She wants no part of the returned prodigal. Her bruised heart just can not take it. But her ailing father wants Rod back in their lives, and she will do anything to put a spark back into his eyes. In a crisis of faith, Rod turned his back on Demi and his mother and father. His search for wealth took him into a world of gun running and danger. A journey that left him with a bullet-damaged body and a bitter, scarred soul. He has discovered what he really wants. . .Demi and the life he fled from. But can he go home again and claim what he turned away from? Last Act of Grace, is the first Christian novel I have read. I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint is I would have liked to spend more time in the air with Demi, rather then on the ground worrying about her.
