Deeply detailed, the story entices readers and encourages them to seek out other tales in the Kegin History series. Characters who are well-delineated and a strong plot line increase the interest, and Ms. Lyons excellently weaves in mythological, legendary, and historical background to the Kegin world. Readers will find this one an excellent addition to their keeper shelf.
