The Last Legacy is a story about Lily Tremaine, a woman who had spent her whole life under her mother’s iron thumb. She had dreams which she couldn’t realize until she inherited her aunt’s estate. Soon she found herself off to England and away from her repressed life. But what lily didn’t know was that she had also inherited a guardian. Faelen is a wyvern, a mystical creature who’s job has been to guard and protect the females of the Tremaine family for centuries. As the attraction grew stronger between lily and Faelen, Lily doubted herself and that created troubles between her and Faelen as she saw it. But faelen saw no such flaws. Instead he saw a beautiful woman, someone who quickly became all too dear to him. Soon they would have to face the enemy who seeks to end both their lives. But as guardian and protector, Faelen took his job seriously. Now that Lily has grown more important to him the more time they spent together, he will let nothing or no one stand in their way of happiness. With much laughter and humor, I enjoyed reading this magical book. It made me believe in the world of long ago when everything was so simple and true with happily ever after fairy tales.
