Karli Blake hates going home on the night subway after her coworkers have left, but some nights she has no choice. Tonight is especially important because she has a celebration dinner to cook, so she hurries to catch her train. On the platform of the subway, she encounters a beautiful man who has ulterior motives. She boards her train only to find him sitting next to her, touching her in a very intimate way. She has no choice but to do as he tells her to. This is just the beginning of what will be a very strange and interesting night. Her abductor/seducer makes her aware of her own body in spite of her fear and his concern for her well-being keeps throwing her off balance.

Ms. Bonde has a beautiful way of being able to set the mood and bring out the sexual sizzle that dominates the story without taking away from the characters. Karli is strong but there is something about the strange man that holds her enthralled. Although initially the reader is led to believe the sexual relationship it is not consensual, the feeling that it is consensual dominates. This is a very entertaining story filled with emotions and sexual heat culminating with a surprising twist.
