Seanin and The Sleeping Prince by Kate Devlin is a creative and magical story about the troubles and mischief of fairies. Colorful and delightful this story has a magical sense about it that comes from the descriptive words of the author. It is easy to imagine the scenes of the fairies as they dance and feast and the exciting ride through the night sky. A sweet romance and an exciting and magical adventure, it was a joy to read. Elusion by Louise King is about Princess Genevieve and her attempt to escape an unwanted marriage to an evil man. She decides to run away to safety dressed as a peasant boy. It was as a boy she meets Nicaise. Nicaise sees a boy that needs help and decides to take him home to work in his stables. This is a beautiful romance were two people fall in love but secrets stand as an obstacle to their happiness. Beautifully written a gentle story that leaves the reader with a smile. Someday My Prince by Judy Bagshaw is a variation of the Princess and the Pea. It is simply sweet. The dialogue is well written and flows smoothly. The changes to the story were enjoyable. This is another story that will leave the reader with a warm feeing inside. In all, Leading Ladies is a collection of beautiful stories that encompass the warmth of romance and happiness. They bring a magical sense to life and leave the reader smiling and dreaming of happy ever after. Though each story has its own unique settings they all combine to transport the reader to the land of fairy tales. They remind this reader of being a young girl first reading the classic stories, but with a new twist, for now romance is a thing of truth and better understood. Four sweet stories that will leave the reader with a gentle sigh and a smile. I recommend, Leading Ladies to all the readers to be enjoyed.
