| After walking out on Brianna almost two years ago, Kaden agrees to marry Brianna so their daughter can inherit over $5 million from her grandfather. They agreed to a marriage of one year until the estate gets settled, signed a marriage agreement and planned to get a divorce the day after a year married. Her pride bruised, Brianna grudgingly agrees to accept Kaden’s help. She has been struggling for almost two years to support herself, their daughter and her disabled mother. With Kaden back in her life, nothing is stable or easy. Where will they be in a year?
I could not put this book down. Right from the beginning this book will catch your interest and it won’t let you go. Bree and Kaden have an amazing chemistry between them. I loved that they were best friends for years. I would’ve loved to have seen more of the support characters. This story has the potential to become a series with stories about Kaden and Bree’s friends from when they all grew up together. The love scenes are very sensual and sweltering, but not over the top. This story is about love and trust and how to get beyond past hurts and misconceptions in order to make a better life for you and your family. Baby Shiloh is an absolutely darling little girl who will have you smiling throughout. The way she wraps Kaden around her little finger is adorable. Leave the Pieces deals with the very common issue of children born out of wedlock in today’s society with tact and skill. Leave the Pieces is a very touching story that will leave you satisfied and yet hungry for more. If you are looking for a good modern day romance that deals with real issues of the heart, this book is the one you are looking for.
