| Lisa Brennan and Daniel Wilson end up in the same jury pool on St. Patrick's Day. Since they are the only ones wearing green, and the only ones really wanting to be there to do their civic duty, they start up a conversation. Bree is a paralegal hoping to get called simply to get away from the two-faced, demanding attorney she works for. Daniel is a busy attorney, one of the good guys, if only Bree will believe in him. Her experience tells a different story about attorneys.
A Little Legal Luck is a sweet, no sexual encounter, quick read story about "boy meets girl" in an interesting setting, a jury pool. Bree is trying to find a new job to get away from a boss who cares about his clients only to the point where they sign papers and hand over the retainer. Daniel appears to be a better man but she is skeptical after her personal experience and needs some proof to believe he's different than her boss. The whole story takes place in a single day as they meet here and there between courtrooms and lunch. Circumstances and perceptions change and by the end of the day, the reader has to decide for themselves if these two are going to make it as a couple.
