Sal and his nephew Paulo have secrets that they cannot reveal to anyone and Sal's experiments could be life or death for them. And now they need Julia, so she cannot be allowed to leave. Sal attempts to make her stay by cashing in on their instant attraction and starts a seduction, when that does not work he has to let her know that her life is in his hands, and in the paws of Snow. Will Sal's experiments work? Will he be able to save himself? Can Julia accept his love when she knows the truth about his life? Ms. Blazer wrote an extremely hot and sexy book. Julia is strong and very much her own person, and Sal is a loving, caring person caught in a tough situation that he has no control over. I wish that Sal had been more forthcoming and less controlling, but overall, it was a very good book. Highly recommended.
