Scarlett is dealing with memory loss and is trying to remember who she is. She has found seven shape-shifting mates who are trying to help her though. Leo is the oldest. In this story, the other mates have gone to the rodeo to let them know that it's their last circuit. Leo and Scarlett have one on one time to connect and build their relationship.

The characters in this series are written pretty well. They do not contradict themselves at all. The story is short and so the characters are being developed throughout all of the books being written in this series. There is a lot of sexual tension throughout the book. There is also a lot of sex. This book is very explicit. All of the brothers get involved and Scarlett enjoys it all. Most of this story focuses on Scarlett and Leo. The dialogue is okay. It makes sense with the plot line but is not outstanding. I enjoyed the storyline for the most part. There is some action but not too much. The action has to deal with Scarlett's attempted murder and the continued attempts and schemes. There could have been more action and emotion shown. There was emotion involved it just happens very quickly.
