Jamie Winston, twenty five, was a teaching assistant in a journalism class at the local university. After working so her husband could get his law degree, he moved on. She returned home and went back to school. Older than most of the students, she wanted to explore the activities she missed the first time around. Her best friend, Susan, took her to her very first frat party. She was on a mission—to see a student she was interested in knowing better.

Brady Lane at twenty seven was an Iraq veteran. When he returned to school for his degree in journalism, he intended to return to the war zones as a fair reporter. He had noticed the teaching assistant, Jamie, and was shocked when she walked into the party he was attending. In fact, a few minutes later and he would have been gone. He just couldn’t take his eyes off Jamie—usually dressed in big, baggy professional clothes, she was in tight jeans and a daring top.

This is my first Emma Jay experience. I think she will go far. This book explored the sensuality of an insecure woman and a man who believed she was much more than the insipid personality she presented. These two characters were polar opposites on the common-interest scale. However, they were mesmerizing to read about. It was as if the two were my best friends and I was watching them evolve as a couple.

This book was very graphic and sensual. It definitely is not for the timid. Usually I’ve found a book with this much graphic sexual encounter lacks a plot. This one, however, gave all the benefits of both sizzling sexual encounters and a beautiful storyline. I recommend you read this book.
